Cambridge

We are now back in England with the bonus of easy communication. Of course we discovered in Poland plenty of ways to cross this barrier. On the train to Torun a woman in our compartment kept smiling at us, clearly wanting to have a conversation. Finally she produced some family photos from her wallet & of course Kay had her brag book. There were nods & smiles all around!

Arriving at Stansted airport we picked up our rental car & drove to Cambridge nearby. This university town was begun by rebels from Oxford in 1284. What an interesting & photogenic place! Here our some of our favourites.

Lots of tourists & students

The biggest risk was being run over by a bike!

Just one from lovely Kings College Chapel

The place we discovered our love of great master paintings. This museum had an amazing collection and we had almost run out of time!

On our way to Trowbridge, a must for every tourist - being stuck a M25 traffic jam!
